Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe to Kampala (Hotel Transfer)
At your arrival, our driver/ guide will receive and welcome you to Uganda from Entebbe international airport. Then take you to a hotel in Entebbe or transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls national park
You’ll be transferred from the hotel after breakfast by our guide and drove off to the Murchison Falls in the northwest. Travelling via neighbourhoods with a history to tell like Luwero Triangle then to Nakitoma in Nakasongola at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary, the only place to see rhinos in Uganda. You’ll have lunch and proceed to Murchison falls national park Kichumbanyobo gate.

Day 3: Game Drive and Launch Cruise
Setting out on this day after an early breakfast morning for a game drive around the northern banks of the Nile River, the possibilities are higher of sighting the predators like lions and leopards of the savanna. As for the prey, you’ll be able to see a lot including elephants, Uganda kobs, hartebeest, giraffes, buffalos, waterbucks and many more.
Bird species will be sighted during the drive and at boat cruise after returning from the drive where you’ll set off from your lodge, having had lunch and cruise at the bottom of the falls of the river. Various animals such as crocodiles, hippos are seen at the river as well as elephants and waterbucks and different birds’ kinds.
Until you reach the bottom of the falls and see the world’s most powerful waterfall gushing through the rocks with a roaring sound and a white mist of its making. You’ll then head back in a one-hour cruise to land then to drove back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay while having wi-fi to socialise and share your experience with family and friends.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale forest national park (Chimpanzees’ Habitation)
After an early morning breakfast, you check out from the lodge and travel to Kibale national park via fort portal by our drive. This park being home to 13 primate species it’s one of Africa’s most beautiful rainforests with over 325 bird species. Lunch is caught along the way while having scenic views en route to Kibale national park since it’s an 8-hour journey until you’re destined to a specific lodge of your booking to dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking/habituation
Immediately after breakfast, head to the park headquarters and get briefed by the ranger guide before the start of your chimpanzee expedition into the deep tropical forests. Through your way to a 1-hour meeting with the chimpanzees, you may spot other primates, butterflies, birds among others. On finding the chimpanzees, you’ll enjoying taking photos and watching them habituate.
You’ll get back to the lodge for lunch then visit the Bigodi wetlands and as well as watching birds, baboons, bush babies among other wildlife species in the evening then return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park then Game Drive and Boat cruise
On this day immediately after breakfast, set off to a 4-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth national park which is home to a number of animal and bird species. En route to Queen Elizabeth national park you’ll enjoy great views including a number of crater lakes and the Rwenzori ranges.
You’ll enjoy an evening game drive and a late afternoon lunch accompanied by a boat safari in Kazinga channel sightseeing mostly animals in the water like hippos and its banks like waterbucks with different bird species, take photos for a great experience. Dine and sleep in a lodge of your booking.

Day 7: Game Drive and exploring Ishasha sector
Early morning game drive offers you a sight to predators that normally take to the shades in broad day light. Through the Kasenyi plains on a 2-hour drive to Ishasha there’s a lot of buffalos, zebras, waterbucks and various colourful birds to watch. With the range guide’s help on reaching Ishasha, you’ll search out for the tree climbing lions and imagine how amazing to watch them up in the trees. Get to the lodge in Ishasha and have lunch then get ready to set off.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
We set out on our trek to Bwindi, the home of the gentle giants the mountain gorillas. The route passes through the Kigezi highlands’ terraced slopes. Depending on the time of arrival, lunch will either be along the route or at the resort. At your hotel in the resort, get some well-earned slumber.

Day 9: Mountain Gorilla safari tracking
These gentle giants with a DNA closest to humans can only be seen in the Mgahinga national park and Bwindi impenetrable national park. They are tracked from the start of the early morning hours since it can take 1 to 8 hours tracking them because they move differently. It will take your 1 hour experiencing their habitats and capture greatest moments with them.
You should carry packed lunch from lodge, enough drinking water and trekking equipment. After the tracking, then you can go for a short-guided forest walk or village walk to the Batwa community and move back the lodge to retire.
Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe via Kampala
Have breakfast at leisure and later transfer to the airport for your onward flight marking the end of this 10-day Uganda safari. We sincerely hope you enjoyed your time in the Pearl of Africa, both in the outdoors and among the Ugandan people.
